Thanks for the reply. I bought a test light and found the main fuse was bad even though it appeared fine. Bike is running now. In the meantime I bought a 2002 Honda VTX 1800 c. Both bikes running well, what else could I ask for.

Use a tester to see if the fuses are getting power. One just never knows.
