Change the oil and replace the filter. As an added precaution replace the oil pressure switch which is at the back of the block. Not difficult to remove and replace. If after doing the above, and the oil pressure light still does not go out with in a few seconds of the motor starting and running, then you have a bigger problem - so dont tempt fate and wreck a good engine.
