Question about possible hesitation

Okay so I have the bike running and am loving it. However when I cruise along without changeing the throttle settings much the engine sounds like it's hesitating occasionaly. (It almost sounds like a dull popping from the exhaust.) It doesn't happen often but it does happen. (There is no hesitation in the engine when I roll on the throttle and the bike seems to idle just fine.)

Is this normal for these bikes? If not, any ideas on what it might be?
