New here, looking for advice

Howdy all! I'm buying a 1979 cb750 from my dad and first thing I notice that I don't like about the bike is the winny exaust. Sure I'll have question down the line but for now can someone tell me how or if I can change this to get a deeper tone? Also, anything I should look out for with this bike, any weak points or anything like that! Much thanks in advance!!
