dont take the airbox out. the plastic part of the rear fender snaps away from the frame by the air box. loosten and shove the battery cage under the seat frame and then push it and the plastic rear fender against the rear tire toward the back of the bike. Then after the carb boot clamps and the mounting bolt for the air box are loose you can pull the airbox back enough to get the carbs out.
