  Number 2 should be not different than the others. 2 and 3 are angled slightly to the center as 1 and 4 are angled slightly outward. Make sure someone didn't leave a washer or such on the plug. It helps to use a small mirror and flashlight to take a look. Who knows, maybe somebody put a longer plug in and your socket is not deep enough. I've seen stranger things happen.
