thank you very much for the information. as of right now i have found a set of forward controls probably from the same person your thinking of. also in the next few weeks i will be getting the carbs readjusted so that they are all in sync with each other. i found out that this could be a huge cause of the issues i am having. the person who is going to be doing it is going to be checking them out to make sure that that is all it is. as for the thing with taking out the air filter sounds interesting i will have to try it and see what happens. though that would be something for next year as of now i just would like to be able to get it to run right. (if they need to be rebuilt maybe ill get those jets your speaking of and try it sooner)
