new question:

The line that comes out of in between carbs 2 and 3, that just is a vent correct? and also isn't there also 1 more vent? or am i horribly mistaken.

And if they are both vents, what would happen to the carbs if the guy that worked on these carbs before i bought the bike ran the line from in between 2 and 3 to the port on the right most side of the carbs, right below and to the right of where you hook up gas to them?
