I have the same bike as yourself. The guy I got it from has the long forks, kinda chopper style. I wanted to make is short and have the line be horizontal instead of inclining.

I found a pair of 77 super sport forks that I am going to put on. Actually, I already did but the caliper assembly did not fit properly. I have to find the right mounting bracket that fits my forks, and/or get a whole new assembly.

Which I now am interested in adding another rotor and braking assembly to make it a duel front disc braking system. I'm not sure if i'm getting ahead of myself or not. I found a guy on ebay that drills holes into your rotor so that it is more effective. Maybe I'll start with that.
