Sprockets? Need some advice.

I'd like to get more riding/top speed out of my bike. I am assuming that if I change my sprocket this will happen, I also understand that she won't be as quick out of the start and that's fine, I'm not planning to drag race anyone. It just seems like I'm not getting all I should out of my bike, everyone says 100mph should be no problem but I'm not even close when I'm in 5th gear. Any recomendations as to what type of sprocket will help me achieve this?
