There is a seller on EBAY who sells a repair kit that contains a new plastic button attached to a brass post plus a very small spring.I used his kit to fix my starter button and it was pretty simple. hardest part was removing small screw that holds button in switch.Cost of kit with shipping was $11.75. Way cheaper than nos switch or used pos ebay switch. Look for "dgs38" under seller.
