OK, I goofed again.  I thought it was a DOHC model.  This diagram you posted is different.
This one is a bit simpler, but does essentially the same thing. If the start switch is at the top next to the Emergency and Headlight switches, then it's a simple Normally Open SPST switch. It does have voltage for the low current side of the solenoid.

So, apply the same disclaimer used on an earlier message, and find a good pushbutton switch rated to 5 amps or so, and see if it works.  You'll connect the switch to Red/Green and Red/Yellow.
