wanted: comstar wheels

alehman
I'm looking for a 19" front and an 18" rear w/drum brake, if that exists. I have a set of spokes with those dimensions I could trade too.

I have a 19" front, but they all have disc breaks on the front.

I will take $75.00 plus shipping, for the wheel, speedometer drive, and both rotors. Also this is the old style comstar.

Re: wanted: comstar wheels

I think I can do that. Just a few questions-

What's the rim width on those? I have tires, just want to make sure they'll fit those wheels. Also, just to clarify, 19" front, and the rear is 18" with drum?

As well, in the state you're sending them to me are they ready to just be popped onto the bike? i.e. will I have to assemble hubs or find my own drum or disk?

also, they'll have no problem fitting onto dohc, right?

thanks for your help!

It will go right on a DOHC, but you know I only have the front wheel. Shiny got the rear one awhile back.

I have a set of comstars on my 1980 CB750C that I'm looking to swap for spokes. I can check the manual and see if they are the size you're looking for. Front disk, rear drum. If they are I'd definitely be interested in a trade.

Thanks, I might end up sticking with spokes though... just got a tire mounted and balanced on the rear. I appreciate your checking though.

P.S. I think the C had an 18 or 19 front and then the rear was a 16. At least that's how my friend's C is set up.
