wiring help 82 cb750 custom

hi hope some one here may be able to help me . i got a 82 cb750 custom from my dad . he was supposed to be helping me with the thing but always a no show so my issue at the moment is wiring and on the starter clutch cover there are a group of wires with a plug . i plugged that in but there one random wire coming out of those wires and i can't seem to fuiger out where it goes ill post a pic hopen someone knows . thanks

If you are referring to the large black wire in your hand, it looks like the starter wire, and goes to the solinoid.

Yes the wire in my hand . And it is coming off the side of that yellow side cover... So it goes to the starter solenoid
