do those pipes have the later style flanges or the spigot style?

Sorry for the short reply on the flanges.I was driving. They collars and spacers,or whatever they're called is all there.

ii think i would.i just measured it against my 78 and it seems like it would work with a couple washers,but i could be wrong..and the brackets on my frame could be bent out a bit..so it might be a perfect fit on youre bike..ask around and see if the 78 uses the same center stand as a 74..

yeah i could use that seat,,what do you mean the pan and hinge are gone?you just have the foam and cover left?

Pat,the pan and the hinge are solid. The foam is most likely reusable,but the cover is obviously toast.
