1971 cb750 really nice condition

Jeremy
You are looking at an incredible piece of history.
This is a 1971 honda CB750 that was customized like you see in 1972.
I purchased this from original owner ( have all paperwork) and have only driven it 15 or so miles for fear of damaging anything. Everything you see here is from early 70's<br>
starting with the psychedelic paint job from a local painter ( yes it was painted in 1972 and still looks very good )
the seat that has been custom built on the original seat pan so that it would still hinge properly.
the rear wheel has been laced with a harley rim so that you could run a 16" tire on it. I know the mechanic that laced the wheel, and he partied with the guy that painted the bike.
The headlight was swtiched out to the cooler smaller style headlight and the headlight brackets were chromed to match. ( and of course a couple years later honda started chroming the headlight brackets on 750's) all the covers were high polished or switched with chrome. the lower fork tubes were high polished, kickstand chromed, rear grab bars added crash bars and forward highway pegs added.
And again all this was done in the early 70's.
I have original owners manual and the special ordered service manual from the same era as well.
I cannot begin to tell you how clean this bike is for almost 42 years old. You will have to make that decision for yourself. I am open to offers so if you would like to feel free to email me. I am not in a hurry to sell nor do i have to sell.
I just think this would look a lot better in someones showroom than tucked away under a blanket in my garage.

Thanks for the reply. I rode it a little but do not want to mess it up any. There is a lot of history that goes with the bike. It is not everyone's taste now but it was in 1972. Especially if you were on acid. Lol. I have had thoughts of putting it back all original but decided to wait for now. Maybe someone will want to relive there youth and pick this baby up.

I wish I had the money to buy it. I hate to admit it, but I remember when that bike was COOL the first time. Don't change a thing on it!

Had a nice ride this weekend. It's a little different from the 1000rr I ride but still very nice. She ran like a Rolex
And even had some chicks checking it out. Don't let the summer pass you by while I ride your next bike.
