1973 Honda CB350

Hey all I just purchased my first Honda CB350. It doesn’t start. The ignition points need timed. I was just wondering where a good starting point would be.

I would start with checking/changing the oil, and cleaning the oil slinger. Then I would see if the carbs will hold gas. If the engine is not stuck, it should run. These things are tough. I believe we have the Honda Factory Service manual here in PDF to download. Get it and read through it. Unless the points are actually damaged, just try to start it.

Use a fully charged battery and then check the charging system.
