1976 CB750 (E i think) Electrical issues

I'm trying to fix this bike for my Preachers Son; When I turn the ignition key I have nothing. No lights horn or starter switch doesn't work.
I took the battery out of my bike and put it in there same thing
If I jump the silinoid the starter turns - still wont start I'm not getting any spark
I even tried the kick start  but it still no spark

How do I trouble shoot the ignition switch to make sure that is it (still factory wired)?
If it is it where do I get the wrench to take off the ignition switch nut?

So I have the lights and horn working but still no spark and the electric start button is not working but I can jump the silinoid but no spark at the plugs.......any ideas.

For what it's worth, this is the same symptoms I had a year ago when I got my 72.  A good friend said to get a wiring diagram, and go through the bike methodically, checking each connection, cleaning, di-electric grease, etc.  Assuming your ignition switch is good...  I found, among other things, some loose connections, and then, success, she fired.  I recommend a multi-tester so you can go through each circuit.

He he! There is no E. Don't worry, you are not the first.
You would either have a K or an F.
There is a manual here. Download it and go to town.
Most likely there is a lot of cleaning to be done in the electrics.
You will want to get some contact cleaner, contact cleaner with lubricant if you can.
Spray out the ignition switch. Clean the controls too.
You will want to clean out the fuse connections too.

That is the first place to start. Gotta clean the slate before you draw on the board.

I finally got the bike running with a little bit help from this site. I can't figure out how to get the pipes off my bike.

I already removed the sprockets (collars or whatever you call them)
I already removed the peg bolts but I can't get them to pull free.

I've been looking on the web for the last three hours, trying to find some tips and tricks to get them off, but nothing has helped. The pipes are in really bad shape rusted beyond polishing, but I need to save them because I'm going to sandblast them and pait them with header paint....if that doesn't turn out verygood then I'm going to wrap them, cut off the turn downs and put some tips on them. Unless anyone else knows a less expensive route that still will look good when I'm done.
