whats your take on the air filters that clip onto the carbs instead of the airbox? kind of like the way that looked i am pretty sure ive seen some of your bikes set up that way?
It's doable, but I havent heard of anyone having 100% success. That said,I still use pods In warm weather I have zero issues unless it is extremely windy. In cold weather ( 55 degrees F or less)the least amount of cross wind will really cause the bike to lose power at highway speeds. Anything under 40-45 mph seems to have no issues. When it's cold out and windy I typically have to engage the choke slightly just to be able to run down the highway. So Lucky's right. If you already have a good stock airbox just rock that until you get everything else sorted.

And dont lie about the vampire diaries...you know you love it!
