My 1977 Honda CB750K

mitchell.lee.miller

This is my Roxanne, a '77.  I realize this is a bad picture.  Notice the Black duct tape seat cover, employed temporarily.  I ordered, a little over a week ago, a new seat cover from a website posted on this forum.  I hope it comes in soon and will work out.  Thanks everyone for your help with stopping the carb leak, btw.

There is nothing wrong with using duct tape, for a seat cover. I once knew a kid that used it to make racing stripes on his Camaro. I thought it was really cool.

It can't be factory, mine is the only one I've seen.  Every other K I've been gawking at has Chrome fenders, but I like it too.  The guy I bought it from said he bought it from a motorcycle mechanic who painted it himself.

Still waiting on that seat cover...B and H Specialties charged my card two weeks ago and hasn't contacted me...phone line is always busy...

I remember it taking a long time to get my seat cover from them as well.  I wasn't in any hurry though so I didn't mind.

I ordered it at the start of the winter and just needed to get it done before the snow melted.  Mine turned out great.

Roxanne in a light snow.

Here you go Piute, I hope this satisfies.

Notice the new seat, here you can see the "Honda" I painted on the back of it with vinyl paint.  If anyone should try painting with vinyl on their seat out there, make it extremely thin.  It will turn out looking better and adhering better.

New seat cover.

I don't miss the duct tape seat.
