I’ve been working on cars for a while, but this is my first time breaking open a bike engine. I picked up a 1980 CB750K about a year ago and now I want to clean it up a bit. I’ve got a 1979 engine from the same model bike that I’ve taken apart.
Before I just check it for defects and put it back together, I would like to do whatever I can to improve it performance.
I’m open to suggestions, I don’t know these engines well. I was thinking about the cam shaft from a 750F, a new set of springs for the valves, and.... I’m not sure. That’s why I’m here.
