1979 CB 750K - Are there supposed to be loose wires in the headlight assembly?

New starter motor is in! And it turns over!

Carb float bowls need new gaskets.

Put new spark plugs in, and a little bit of oil in the spark plug holes. Put the bike in 4th gear and turned the rear wheel a few times to lubricate in there. At least the engine isn't seized.

But when I look through the exhaust ports there is a hell of a lot of carbon built up in there.

I reckon it might start with fresh carbs!
