The oil cooling system is not factory, it was installed by me, using a radiator off of a CB900C. The oil thermostat opens at 180 F. The entire system maintains the oil at a cool ~210 F, riding two up, full saddlebags, trunk, and tank bag, in 87 F temperatures, running for three hours at 60 MPH. It automatically bypasses the radiator until the oil reaches minimum operating temperature (for the oil), of 180 F. There are no oil leaks anywhere on the bike.
I am rather meticulous in my bike maintenance, doing some things myself, the rest being done by professionals at Cycle Pro's, in Rochester. Any questions on condition of the bike, can be directed to me, or my mechanic, Mike, at CP's (they're on the Web, look them up, and ask about Bruce's '79 CB750K -- they know me well, as I take all of my bikes to them, since 2006).
Location is Rochester, MN, Southeast corner of the state, just off Interstate Highway 90. Asking price is $1,800. Serious inquiries only.
CASH only, no checks, M/O's, etc. For additional photo's, information, please PM me through this site. Thank you. Cheers!
