1979 CB750k Battery Box

Spargelkol
I just bought a '79 CB750K. I was doing a bit of work to get it running nice, and am having a really hard time getting the battery box to come out. Is there a trick to this, or do I just need to wiggle it free? Any help would be appreciated.

Usually you just have to grab it and pull it out. It may be the battery was the wrong dimensions or something got stuck in there. I suppose the battery may have swelled too. You might have to remove the bolts for the box and pull the whole thing out and then take the battery out of the box.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

I just replaced the battery on my 81 F. That was a bugger to get out. I didn't take the box out but the battery just barely fit under the top bracket and from I could tell that bracket is not removable. It was darn near impossible to get the new battery in as it was about 1/16" taller than the old battery. It hung up on the cross strap at the bottom of the box.

Thanks for the responses. The battery comes out just fine, its the actual box I am having trouble with. I need to pull it, so I can pull the air box back, so I can pull the carbs. And the box just seems stuck. I didn't want to go tugging on it in case there was some sort of technique needed to pull it free that I was unaware of.
