1979 Honda CB650 exhaust on a 750?

SoonerRon
Can anyone advise if a stock 4-into-2 exhaust from a 1979 CB650 will work on a 1979 CB750K? A nice set is listed on eBay, both L and R sections. The seller claims they will work on a 750 but I'm skeptical. I would like to pick them up if they work...

If the header tubes are the same diameter, and bent the same, the hanging of the mufflers off of the rear frame, would not be too difficult.  However, the header tubes must be the same diameter, and bent/shaped nearly identical to fit around the engine (a good chance they are, but you won't know until you have them in hand, next to your bike, so you can do a fitment test...).  Best of luck.  Cheers!
