1981 CB 750C ENGINE HEAD SWAP HELP

Shermantank27
HEY FOLKS, IM JUST STARTING TO GET ELBOWS DEEP IN MY PROJECT I PICKED UP FROM MY BUDDY. HE HAD IT AND DETERMINED WITH A BORESCOPE THAT ONE OF THE CYLINDER INTAKE VALVES WERE STUCK OPEN, GOT MAD AND SOLD ME THE PROJECT FOR VERY CHEAP INCLUDING THE MANUAL FOR THE BIKE. ORDERED A HEAD IN AND GASKETS ARE HERE. NOW THE QUESTION IS IT IS A DOHC SETUP CAN I REMOVE THE CYLINDER HEAD INFRAME? THE MANUAL JUST SAYS TO REMOVE THE ENGINE. WHAT ELSE SHOULD I BE DOING IF I HAVE TO PULL THE ENGINE ANYWAYS, WHAT ARE SOME COMMON PROBLEMS THESE BIKES HAD? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I thought that the head could be removed with the engine in the bike, but others have informed me that it can not be done. However it is very easy to remove a DOHC engine. I can do it by myself in about 20-30 minutes. The frame tube on the right un-bolts, and you can put a car jack under the engine, and roll it away from the frame.
