1982 cb750c cb750k parts interchange

zack
I have a 1981 cb750k in great cosmetic condition but dead engine (no compression on at least one cylinder, plus some other problems).

I have a 1981 cb750c with a great engine (< 11k miles) but bad cosmetic condition.

I want to merge them. My question is, what's the easiest way?

Can I take the tank, seat, side panels, and shiny bits off of the k and put them on the c?

How hard would it be to take the engine out of the c and put it into the k?

What would be a good place to start looking for info on this?

Do both bikes have titles? If only one has a title, that is the one I would fix up. The DOHC engines are really easy to change because the bottom right frame tube un-bolts. You can just wheel it out of the frame with a floor jack.
