1982 cb750k where can you keep tools & registration?

zack
I got a 1982 cb750k about two months ago. As far as I can tell, the seat is bolted on. On other bikes that I have, there is some place to store documents--either a side panel comes off, or the seat lifts up, or something. My cb650 has a compartment for its own tool kit.

Does anyone have ideas about where to keep small items on an 82 cb750k? Is there supposed to be a storage compartment somewhere and I am just not seeing it?

It seems logical to keep your registration with the bike. Is there some reason not to?

IIRC, there is a small storage bin behind one of the side covers.  I'm sure someone else will pipe up on this.

Should be right behind the left side cover.
