23 MPG?!?!?

I just recently cleaned out my carb and rebuilt it, I counted turns on all the adjustment screws when i put it back together and installed everything. Is my carb seriously out of whack or whats going on? I should be getting more MPG than that.. The bike seemed to be running fine. It starts right up and idles and i don't hear any weird noises. I don't have a leak in my carbs or anywhere else that i can see. There isn't a smell of fuel in my garage.. Help please.. again..

Im getting about 31 around town. I dont have much chance to romp on it mostly sitting in traffic and moving with traffic

Hello again. Have you checked that the vacuum readings on all four carbs are the same ? No leaks ANYWHERE ????  All the jets are ib the right place - on other words you haven`t mixed up the primary with the secondary jets?. The float level should be 15.5mm (0.61") the Primary Jet is 68 and the secondary jet is 102 - thats from the Honda factory workshop manual that I have  What RPM are you doing at say 100KMH /60 mph ?? Also check the number of teeth on the rear sprocket. Front should be 15 and rear anything from 38-44. I know my Honda on long distance touring trips gives me 42-44 MPG , but never bothered to check when running around the city. Idle speed is 1000 rpm +/- 50 rpm

i just took it to the shop, i know i know, i got this far i should figure it out myself. But, i got tired of screwing with it. I just wanna ride the damn thing and get it working how it should be. 3 months ago i didn't know nothing about nothing bike wise. I'm quite a bit better but, my patience isn't all that robust. thanks for the assistance guys. i'm sure ill be bugging you all again.
