Only 2 days off while everyone I work with gets 3. I hate contract work.

And I haven't yet found a gasket that'll work with my brakes. Vintagecb750 hasn't replied yet to my e-mail so I don't know when the front brake will be back together. Starting to frustrate me. I should just buy a used front caliper off a known '81 cb750k and use my rebuild kit on it.

Arghhh. I wanna ride!

I understand how irritating it is when you got something like that keeping you off the bike.But,the build is half the fun. It'll all come together soon

      Had all kinds of fun getting what I needed and  GOT IT then it just set there waiting fo me

They offered to return my money, but I wouldn't feel right keeping the stuff AND getting my money back. So instead, I'm just hoping that I can find a good caliper that this set will fit in.

                sent me the right seals for my forks after they advertised wrong,
  Before I even sent them back ,there great but pretty busy cause they always run out of stuff

I pointed 'em to my thread on here, and they said they checked it out but are completely stumped as to what's causing my issue. It's listed in a few places that the caliper is supposed to be 38mm, but mine is 42.8mm. So that's what my issue is, guarantee it. It's not a vintagecb750.com issue. It's a previous owner surprise.

So now I am on a mission to find out what I've got, or to obtain a correct caliper for a decent price.

I've got Friday-Monday off. Christian College gave me Friday and Monday for travel :) Manager said it was cool if I didn't come in Friday or monday. Woot woot! I'm riding for sure!

I am doing about 10 loads of wash while my wife is at work today. Then around noon I am taking my carbs off and beginning the cleaning and rebuilding, may take a ride Saturday too. I don't have to come up for air until Sunday morning when we make a 3 hour car ride to Penn State, State College, Pa to see my son. that's an all day thing no riding or wrenching this Sunday.
