750K Left Engine Cover Removal

cpsiohio
Once again I beseech the wisdom of so many!  I want to pull the engine cover cap (the thing that has 'HONDA' on it and the casing below so that I can work them on my bench grinder and make them nice and shiny.  I don't have gaskets or 'o' rings in my possession for either.  Is my risk high of damaging the 'o' ring on the cover and the gasket/'o'ring on the casing if I pull them?

Thanks!

mate, im not sure about your success rate.

i have always known the way to go with anything that has been under intense pressure as an o ring or a gasket holding fluid, even if its for a moment,  is to always replace with new................and this is without compromise.

good luck

I have on several occasions been able to reuse gaskets, and O-rings. However it is better to error on the side of caution.
