Thanks Shiny,
I'll keep updating photo's. Could't budget powder coat for the frame. Cleaned and sanded it real good
before paint. Everything is getting paint and cleaning.

Powder coating is nice, but it is not the wonder coating it is made out to be.It can be scratched just like paint can.The advantage to paint is it can actually be touched up without having to strip the bike down to the frame so it can go in the oven. Aint nothing wrong with a good paint job!

Okay guys, Here's some updates. Carbs rebuilt, rebuilt airbox, front forks rebuilt, cleaned iwring harness.
Trying to get it situated in the right place now. Hung up alittle around the battery box area. Things
weren't right here when I got it. I do alittle in the afternoons when I come home from work. Got the rims
and hubs cleaned with new rubber mounted. Hope to get it on wheels soon.

Okays guys, It's finished. What and adventure, but worth it. Took it for a small ride Sat and it was like
a completely different bike. Fantastic. Had it parked in the driveway and I thought people were going to run up in the yard lokking. Pretty proud fo my restoration. Hard to get use to the sound of those dinky
baffles on the back of the pipes. Sounds like the are alway leaking. Just going to do some small things now.
Speedo and tach faces next. Thanks for all the comments and keeping up with my build.

My compliments!  That is as close as you can come to the showroom floor.  You did a great job.  Now, your choices are: make it a trailer queen (boo!) or ride it like it's supposed to be ridden (yay!).  I'm for the latter: they were meant for the road.

Enjoy it!  On to the next project.
