76 750A rear turn signals

750Ksabin
Dose anybody know why my left rear signal has one wire and a single element bulb and my right rear signal has two wires and a dual elemnet bulb? The wiring diagrams only show singles on both sides. I have not had the electrical system energized  yet, so I have not tried to see what comes on when. I want to replace the old signals with smaller ones. just woundering if I need the extra element and wire?

Somebody has replaced one of your turn signals with one from the front. The front ones have the duel filament set up, for running lights.

Does NOT dose. Dose is like a dose of medicine.

The reason your turn signals are different  is because
a previous owner may have installed a single element bulb in a dual filament socket.
Remove the single element bulb and and look inside the fixture.
If you see two round contact points then that is the case,...( wrong bulb).

You can put any turn signals on it that you want but when you buy them make sure it has a regular tail light and a brake light. The brake light bulb element is the one used for turn signals.
