77 Hondamatic project part two (almost there)

I found a shifter with a brass ball at the swap meet, the guy didn't know what it was for but I didn't care cause it was at the right price! I did my thing with it and here's how it turned out, I just need to install my clutch somewhere LOL I also installed a vintage G.E. glass  fog light on the side and left it with no head light...I don't know if I'm going to leave it on but I would like to get used to it. It sure is different though I just hope to finish this soon!

Thanks Shiny! Lol I know, I gotta get a kickstand ASAP and I have it too, I'm just waiting  to finish it so that I can decide if I'm getting shorter tubes or not.

You can ride a bike in your state without a headlight?

Damn, that would just not fly here in Ontario.

Yeah...it gets foggy in San Diego and I seen a few bikes also with the same light around here so there's no problem. I did end up take it it off along with the seat and gas tank. First, the seat wasn't comfortable, a little too big and the seating was to still to high for me.  Second, to many bikes with sportster gas tanks...no offense to anybody lol just wanted something different. I must say it's more comfortable and it also feels way better!

I like the look of the "after" version better myself.!!!
Ya might check the front tire for the leak. Me and tubes don't get along, too easy to pinch on install.

Thanks..same here! As for the tire, it's good, just been sitting around too long. The good thing is that the chain, battery and other parts to get it running are on their way

Thanks! I know how lucky I am to have found this bike but I also knew you were going to hassle me on that lol I do have it...just waiting to mock up everything first before welding it. The gas tank is a paucho mustang, I don't know about the seat but they do combine great and looks perfect in every angle! I did install the carbs, throttle cable and speedometer cable today, so I'm just waiting for my o-ring type chain to do the rest and make sure I have clearance from it...trust me..I'm almost there

COOL! However you put the kickstand on the wrong side. I'm also curious about that tire.
