78 CB750k First bike ever :)

zer213

This is my first bike, I managed to get a friend to trade a carbine for it about a month ago. I rode a friends CB years ago and fell in love with it. I havent touched a bike since but finally got the opportunity to get one. Currently its maybe 1/10th of the way to get into starting condition. It had an electrical fire, note the purty new electrical components, and plenty of other things wrong due to PO not taking care of it.
When I started it was engine, frame, tires, burnt electrical connections, lights and a few other odds and ends. Im waiting on the new tank to cure so I can sand and polish it. Lowe's loves me at this point. I think I may be on a first name basis with most of the employees in hardware just for the sheer number of bolts that Ive had to go and get on a nearly daily basis.
I cant wait till its done, I figure spring will be my goal for having it road ready. That will be the second time I have ever ridden a bike
