79' Carbs Need Tuning

Karl H
Since the problem no longer falls under the title of my last thread I thought id make a new one.

So the bike wont idle and when I ease on the throttle it bogs down a little then works the revs up. I have the pilot screws backed out to what the Manuel says (1 1/2 turns)

I don't know if its running rich or lean but something is wrong and I just don't know where to go from here.

All your help is much appreciated.

She lives! I fiddled with the screw a bit and now everything seems fine. After riding around my block a few times everything smoothed out. I guess the cobwebs needed to be blown out

The only thing is that when I let it sit and idle the exhaust has a little pop in it every so often. It doesnt sound like a back fire tho . Any ideas?

This is the same guide I used when I rebuilt my carbs. It was absolutely amazing; helped me out quite a bit. Going to reference it this week in fact when I do some looking over stuff.
Turbos, Hondas, 4-bangers, what could go wrong?
