81' CB750C Dual Front Disc

Manual
Up front, I am a hobby mechanic so the situation I am having an issue with is possibly me not bleeding or configuring something right after installing the second front brake. I was able to install the second disc and calipur without much issue. The newish brake line was installed going to both front brakes and everything mounted without too many issues (other than mucho learning).

The issue I have now is that both of the front brakes are locked on the disc. I bled the left brake first and when it was clear/no bubbles I closed it and bled the second brake. When that brake was clear and no bubbles I tied back the handle with 3/4 inch spacer like the shop manual says then closed the bleeder on the right brake and then capped the master. There was way to much play in the front brake (eg I could pull to the handlebar) until I pulled a few times and then the brakes locked on the disc. So much so that I cannot push it in neutral.

I know one of the calipurs was good because it was working fine previously (until I monkeyed with it). I feel like it is user error but looking on the web and my attempts to make sense of the shop manual steps dont seem to have paid dividends so I was hoping someone would be able to point out my mistakes.

Also in the images included below the right calipur (new one) has about 1/8 inch clearance from the mag wheel which seems like enough but makes me nervous enough to ask if that is the right amount of space. Pictures below.

I would start with cracking open a bleeder to see if it is pressure holding the brake. If you crack open a bleeder, and the wheel becomes free, you have a problem at the master. If the wheel does not come free, you will need to find out which (or both) calipers are holding the wheel from moving. It could be that you have a caliper piston sticking, a caliper, or pads binding.

Good thinking. That little hole in the master catches a lot of people.
