81 CB750F SS Air box

cbRider
I wonder if anybody here ever thought of modifying the air box, like cut off the rear hump and fit a flat back onto it so it can be removed without taking the carburetors off. It is such a pain to do anything at all to the carburetors. I am definitely thinking along those lines. Looking for input.

Karl. when you have devised a plan and you can get it to wprk then put a post on the forum so that we can all learn from you what you did and how youget the airflow into the airbox. Its a a pain in the proverbial to have to get the carbs off with the way the airbox is configured. I `ve ahd to remove my carbs three times in its lifetime and I learn new swearwords everytime I shred a few layers of skin off my fingers.
