81 Honda CB750C Custom - First motorcycle

This post was updated on .
Ok,
got this non running, so far have cleaned carbs, changed oil (diesel 15w-40) and switched to NGK D8EA sparkle pluglettes.
The bike has 242151 miles, yesterday got it to run if I was throttling it about halfway, and rode for my first time. Was running on 2 cylinders though. So stayed up all night, cleaned the carbs again and now it won't run at all. If anyone has specific vacuum and fuel line diagrams that would be so fricken awesome

The carb pic is of weird scrapes on those butterfly flaps. Like I said, first bike so any "resurectin an old Japanese bike" tips would be greatly appreciated.
Bike is pretty stock.
*UPDATE
Bike is running, I closed off the second plastic t-joint, i believe that is was a vacuum line/fuel return. But the bike is running. Im getting spark to all the cylinders but only getting fire every once in a while on cyl-4. The exhaust stays cold, though like i said sporadically it will start gettin hot. And as i write this im beginning to suspect fuel. But i need to first sync the carbs.
Yes i am running the stock airbox.
(Dont know why those pictures are sideways)
Also, is it normal for it to 'clack' at its idle rpm of around 1000 +\- 100 or does that mean its time for me to reshim the valves?

OK, well first, did you get the manual? You can download it from our manuals section. So, it has 240 thousand miles on it? That is a well used bike.

The manual will also have diagrams and specs for the carbs. Get that first.

Once you have the carbs to base specs, put them on and see how it goes. Make sure the kill switch is on, it'll crank till the battery goes dead and won't fire if that is off. Not like todays bikes which won't crank.

Also, couldn't tell from the pics, but do you have the airbox, or pods? Please say airbox.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
