You guys are probably sick of hearing from me now, so just ignore this if you want, I'll understand
. So In all my wisdom, I went to loosen the tensioner bolt and did not loosen the lock nut first. I'm kicking myself so hard because it just snapped the bolt leaving the rest of it in the hole. So, I went and found a bolt extractor set that I had, drilled the pilot hole and started tapping the extractor into the pilot hole. Well the tip of that broke off in the pilot hole. I was probably using too skinny of an extractor... I don't know.
Anyways, going from here, I took it down to my local Napa Auto Parts where my friend knows a mechanic who will look at it and see what he can do to get the bolt out. What have you guys done in the past? I know breaking off the tip of an extractor in it makes it harder, but any help is appreciated. I am thinking if it cannot come out, I'll get a new head, but is it possible to remove the cam chain without loosening the tensioner bolt? Thanks everybody.
