A second chance.

Kiwibiker
Hi there folks, I'm just sbout to pick up my 2nd 750 Exclusive, I dolg the first one before going overseas about four years ago, not thinking I would come back for a few years, if at all.
Wll, I did come back to NZ, and regreted selling that bike ever since, she was my best , hands down !
My Mrs was hunting around an internet auction site and came across another for sale at a local dealer. only $16,00,00 $NZ, only 60,000 ks, compression between 170 & 168 across the pots !
We went the very next Saturday to the dealers, and I told em I was there to see "my bike", we went downstairs to the basement workshop, and there she was, in her resplendent, chrome and paintwrk glory .
The heart of the beast gleming, seemed be poised to burst into life even without hitting the button.
A few chips here and there in the otiginal paintwork, and a replacement 4 into 1 exhaust system, stainless, original brown vynal seat, only two small tears .
Not the original vhrome backrd headlamp, and it has aftermarket indicators witch attach to the headlight mount. and an oil cooler has been fitted.
Chain and sprockets sem fine.
What can I say ? Im smitten, a second chance I never thought I'd have.
More to follow, after I pick it up next Saturday.
Can somhow post pics ?
Tally Ho !

Sounds like a fun project. It won't take long to get it running, and then the endless tinkering starts.
I like how we call bikes "she".  Well, maybe everyone else does: I named mine after an airplane. Have fun, and enjoy the ride.  2 wheels!

Post pics no problem. Just above the field we type in, there is an insert image button you can click. That will allow you to link the pics you want and upload them. Max side on pics is 5MB but most pics are not that large so it should be no problem.

Welcome back to the motorcycle fold!
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
