Air Pod Brands_1973 CB750

Just inherited a 1973 CB750 in fair condition.  I've begun with the Carbs.  Can anyone recommend compatible Air Pod brands?  This should help drive my decision on how to rejet them.  I'm aware of the challenge ahead, but it sounds like DOHC's are a pain compared to an SOHC.  I've stumbled upon several sites thanks to this forum and so far I've found UNI Foam Air Filter Pod Set PK-3 • Honda 39mm but other suggestions are welcome.

Oh that is nice. I would also bet it works better than pods, too.

Echoing TOOLS though, K&N if you do pods.

I really like the look of that though.
I have to add that url to the parts sources.

Yeah he makes some pretty classy stuff. What do you think a rejetting carbs for something like this? Do you think it would act similar to the stock airbox? I mean with all four carbs in the same box?

Hard to say, bud. Nobody here has run one of these, or anything similar, so you'd be breaking new ground.

As far as the K&N pods...yeah, they are OK. But imo they aren't much better than anything else. K&N'shave a rep for not having restrictive throats, otherwise they are all the same. Instead of buying $60-80 K&N's you can just buy the $20 version and spend a few minutes trimming the throats. However, pods on CV carbs is it's own can-o-worms. SOHC carbs work pretty well with pods.

Thank you all for your advice.  Shinyribs, interested in hearing your results.  Looks like I'll also be going with the single box after seeing what they have to offer.
