Alternator

I have a CB50 Four K 1976 and have no alternator output. I have heard that it is probly the Stator is this correct

Will a CB750 even start if the stator is bad?

  It will run if your battery is strong but will run the battery down and lights will dim. If you need a new one, I got a new stator for my Goldwing from rmstator.com.
