Aluminum Oxidation

cpsiohio
Hello All,
I been polishing up my 82 CB705K and got some chrome like finishes on the easier to reach parts.  Trailered the bike to the Dragon last weekend and the rain on the way down seemed to oxidize the polished parts.  Anyone know of anything that I can rub on my polishing work that will slow the oxidation?   Thanks!

Short of painting clear over it, I have never heard of anything that would keep it shinny. However I use a product called  "Alumagchrom" It is the best metal polish I have ever used. I found it years ago at a trade show, for the trucking industry. If, you google it there are places on line to buy it.
