Excellent movie, Smokey and the Bandit! Got it and #2. Also really enjoy Italian Job. And Entrapment. And Sneakers. And a bunch of other stuff.
Turbos, Hondas, 4-bangers, what could go wrong?

The premise of MST3K is to riff on bad-to-not-so-bad movies, and make fun of dialogue and stuff.  They used to show it on SciFi about 5-10 years ago.  Nowadays, the people behind MST3K can be found doing their stuff on http://www.rifftrax.com . I'm sure you can find a few samples at YouTube.

I should have been more specific I guess. That's my fault.  While we are on car movies, how about Cannonball Run and Vanishing Point?

I was too impressed with either of those two movies. I liked "Gumball Rally", and "Dirty Mary, and Crazy Larry" better.

This is a "Best Of" of my favorite MST3K movie.  Its called The Final Sacrifice and its a really bad Canadian Sci-Fi movie.  There is a good song where they all sing about how dumb Canada is @ about 2:30.
