Just a few things to keep in mind:
Leaves on a road = not much danger
Wet leaves on a road = pretty slippery stuff
Sun goes up and down earlier, which can cause visibility problems for you and those around you.
Don't ask me how I know.
Think about winterizing your bike. The following will probably need some maintenance:
Oil/crankcase
Fork oil
Cable guides oiling
Brake fluid flush
Cooling system flush (if applicable)
Top up the tank and add some sort of stabilizer (SeaFoam or Sta-Bil or equivalent)
It's better to put new fluids in before you put it up for winter. The acids in motor oil in particular will eat at stuff in the engine over time. Fresh oil protects engine innards better.
