BAND insulator CLAMPS for airbox/Intake, stainless

elan
Hey Guys,

I've been selling these on ebay for a while (probably to some of you!) so I thought I would mention it here.

These are extra narrow (.3125, matching original band width) to fit into the intake grooves.  301 stainless band with 410 stainless screw.

You cant beat having new unstretched band clamps for sealing your intake, especially if you are getting new boots.

So I'm offering them in multiple sizes for $2.00 each + $2.00 shipping no matter the quantity.
(Canada shipping, $7.00. Ireland, $13.00, contact me for other destinations)
Shipping is usps first class and takes about 3 days from shipping.

If you are uncomfortable doing a transaction here, you may check out my ebay listings below, or through the sohc forum which I have a history with.

Thanks!

Elan

What he is offering isn't that rare.  Search for micro or miniature worm gear clamps.

Here's an example of a cheaper offering on ebay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/IDEAL-62M24-Hose-Clamp-SS-Min-Dia-1-Micro-24-PK10-/330943350862?pt=Clamps_Vises&hash=item4d0dc2c84e

The price is less than 80 cents a piece (so it's not like he's offering us a good deal, either).

The SAE clamp size is 24.  A size 26 is slightly larger in maximum O.D. (up to 2-1/4" I think).

Hey!
Sorry!! I thought it was setup to contact me for updates, whoooooops

Thanks for the good words Tools1.

That other brand may work, I have no experience with them. Problem is if the drive holes are too bog, they bite into the insulators. Mine are also a higher grade material. Your choice

I've got some more projects going now, too. Anyone recognize this??

Its the cb750 oil stopper seal and spring. I will be shipping these next week.  $23.00 pluss $2.17 shipping.

Again, sorry I vanished for a while there.

Re: BAND insulator CLAMPS for airbox/Intake, stainless

These were discontinued from honda years ago. The original ones begin to harden, and the springs lose tension, causing the oil to drip from our oil tanks into the sump causing an empty oil tank and a "wet sump".  Not ideal.  This new kit will keep the oil where it belongs. I had a run of 200 made, And there are 75 left. If there is enough interest, I could do another run in the future. I will post whats not sold on ebay next week.

I'll make a seperate post for these.

I am also bringing back the 77-78k carb insulator rubbers. THey too have been discontinued...
