I live in east texas  if it a overflow where do the hoses go too  and why is there a steady stream of fuel coming out the bottom of them.I try to find a symatic of the engine where all hose go but cant find anything. I think its a f1 not sure how to tell. Its a 79 I found another lose hose above the carbs not sure what that goes to. Trying not to take it to a mechanic

hi josh the reason why you probably have fuel coming out is because one of the floats is sticking if the bike has been layed up for a while the fuel goes waxy. whatever carb the fuel comes out tap that carb gently on the bottom with a small hammer  then it should be alright if fuel still comes out the float could have a hole in it but is very unlikely over here in britain we have a fuel cleaner called redex for petrol engines if you have the same put it in your tank then run it and it will clean it for you. the pipes from bottom of carbs go underneath air filter between engine and swingarm the swingarm is what the back wheel fits on ok any more problems please ask  if i am slow in answering you its because of time difference

hi josh you have one hose on carb which goes to fuel tap on tank. each carb has a connecting pipe which feeds each carb with fuel. you might need to replace each pipe with new hose its not to hard to do but you will need to take carbs of off bike first. the easiest way i have found to do it is this (step 1)on top off the air filter where it bolts to frame is 2 bolts with 10mm socket size undo these to remove bottom of air filter (step 2) undo the nuts which hold top of filter to frame and unscew the clamps which hold filter to carbs and remove (step3) remove the throttle cable and return cable from carbs (not to hard to do) if your bike has choke cable remove that one also. (some carbs have a choke lever my f1 i had years ago had a lever ) (step 4) undo the clamps which hold the carbs to the mounting rubbers on engine and pull carbs away the rubbers are quite stiff when you replace carbs warm the rubbers with hot water to soften them or better still use a hair dryer . once you have carbs of you can see what u need to do ok any porblems let me know assembly is reverse of removing
