CB750 House Rocker

Melodious Rex
Honda CB750 House Rocker

A Tokyo area custom shop did this SOHC CB750.  It's for sale - 350 mon yen which is over $40,000!  It looks like a stock frame and tank, but everything else has been drastically upgraded.  Beautiful paint on that tank too.   Man, I love it.  And who ever did those pipes should get an award.  House Rocker indeed!

This is a slightly different version of the bike above.  It looks like they built at least two.

Here's a bit of info I gathered using the Google translator.

K-1 racer replica with aluminum tank:
■Kayaba fork 36Ф Moriwaki
■Aluminum fork Mitsudake
■Brembo front brake
■Lockheed front caliper
■Lockheed Riakyaripa
■13 places the frame reinforcement
■TMR 32Ф Yoshimura carburetors
■Aluminum Oil Tank
■Aluminum Side Cover
■Rear suspension Orleans
■Aluminum Fuel Tank
■NSR250 F / R Magnesium Wheels
■Aluminum Battery BOX
■Bored to 836cc with Wiseco pistons
■Big Valves
■Port Polishing
■Engine O / H
■Oil Cooler 9-inch 10-stage
■Carbon F / R fender

I agree Pat - nice, but totally overpriced.  Still, it's one of the coolest modded SOHCs I've ever seen - probably the coolest.  The reason I posted it is because I thought anyone doing a custom SOHC could use it as a model.  In fact, I was thinking about building a replica of this bike - and somehow keep the mods under $2000.
