CB750 Subframe Elimination and Monoshock

Hey guys, question. How bad of an idea is it to use the original swing arm to fab a monoshock conversion to be able to remove the subframe. I’m attaching a pic of a job done (although I think the shock is upside down).

If you are going to use the original swingarm, it does not have the strength to mount the shock like that. The one in the picture is designed for that application. If you are going to use the original swingarm, you will need to make a triangle shaped frame work on it similar to what Yamaha used on the old monoshock dirtbikes.
